The McCormick Tribune Plaza, just west of The Bean, is turned into an ice skating rink over the Winter months, and into an outdoor dining plaza for Summer. Part of the transformation includes installing in Spring and then removing in Fall several ornate steel sculptural assemblies.

    Great Lakes Stair and Steel was selected as the contractor of choice, and awarded the contract to assemble and install the ornamental pieces in Spring, in the plaza at the Park Grill, and then to disassemble and remove them in Fall, to be placed back into storage. Due to our combination of professionalism and experience, we had them all in place in a couple of days. The Park Grill is visited by thousands of people over the Summer, where they dine and relax outside, while enjoying all that downtown has to offer. Below are some thumbnailed photos of the steel.
